This beautiful, fully renovated home is the perfect location for families and friends to enjoy all that the Connecticut Shore has to offer. Situated on the end of scenic Indian Neck, Summer Island Point is surrounded by water. The home has a perfect cove for kayakers in the back yard that connects out to LI Sound.
There is a view of the water from every room in the house and several small, scenic beaches in the neighborhood for swimming and fun in the sand. The house sits on .3 acres and has plenty of outdoor space for lawn games and barbecuing. Inside, the kitchen has all new appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need for a cooking, from a light meal to a New England clam bake. Rooms are large and airy with tasteful, summer cottage decor.
Eight people can sleep comfortably. There are two upstairs bedrooms, one with two twin beds that can be used together as a queen or separated and washer and dryer behind closed doors which can accommodate two. The other upstairs bedroom is the master which has a queen sized bed. Downstairs the third bedroom has a double bed. A pull out and a second floor bonus room provide ample space for an additional four people to sleep comfortably. There is high speed internet and a Bose audio system.
We can accommodate up to 10 guests, but there is an extra charge of $100 per guest for opening the extra bedroom which is otherwise locked.
If you would like to do more than just relax by the water, there are several great restaurants within a mile, and the outstanding Stony Creek Brewery where you can sample a wide range of locally made beer. Branford town has a lovely, traditional New England main street with a large village green hosting concerts and events throughout the summer. New Haven, Foxwoods, Mystic and even New York City are easy day trips.
